Sometimes we all need to escape. Sometimes the world presses us so tightly, and the glimmer of a holiday shimmers so brightly, that we run to embrace the solace of solitude. These past few weeks I escaped to the snowy banked home of Justin and I’s “other” parents and enjoyed parties, good food, and the childlike fun our family has together.

And now after a brief holiday hiatus, I’m back to the blogosphere… renewed, refreshed, and ready for a new year of thoughts, research, and heresy!
